After a long break, fleXstructures GmbH, IPS AB, Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre FCC and Fraunhofer ITWM hosted the 5th International IPS Cable Simulation Conference on September 13 and 14, 2023 in the historic building Fruchthalle in fleXstructures’ hometown Kaiserslautern.
Many users of IPS Cable Simulation from all over the world attended the conference to learn more about the making of the software as well as new features and to share their own experiences with users from different domains and different countries. During the event the international network of IPS experts was strengthened and expanded.
The day before the actual conference Educational Sessions for beginners and advanced users took place. Depending on their knowledge level the participants had the chance to get an introduction to the software, to become familiar with creating a complete IPS simulation based on an industrial application example or to discover tips and tricks for advanced use cases.
The conference days were filled with captivating lectures (see agenda below) from industrial use cases and research topics, Deep Dive Sessions on various topics as well as many networking opportunities for IPS users and all other interested parties. Several exhibition booths complemented the event and provided a point of contact for interested parties to talk to experts.
We would like to thank all the speakers, participants and helping hands who made this event so successful.
We already look forward to the next IPS Cable Simulation Conference in 2025.
