IPS Cable Simulation Conference 2019

On 18^th and 19^th June 2019, our 4^th International IPS Cable Simulation Conference took place at the Technik Museum in Speyer, Germany.

More than 110 participants from all over the world gathered, discussed and shared their own experiences in a pleasant atmosphere. The conference was a great opportunity for networking among industry experts, developers, and users.

Training sessions on IPS Cable Simulation were provided on 17^th June, 2019. This included two separated sessions, dedicated to beginners and experienced users. The beginner training session helped the users getting started with IPS, while the expert training session presented a good occasion for our long-term customers to get to know new features and special functionalities of the software.

Overview of IPS Cable Simulation Conference 2019:

Representatives of top brands in Automobile, Motorcycle, Agricultural and many other Industries such as AUDI, BMW, Coroplast, Daimler, John Deere, Leoni, OPEL, Siemens Mobility, Suzuki, and Volvo Cars presented case studies of wiring harnesses, cables or hoses, and integration strategies of IPS Cable Simulation into the product development processes.
Besides that, new features of IPS Cable Simulation, and current research activities were also presented at the conference by Fraunhofer ITWM, and Fraunhofer-Chalmers Centre (FCC). For example: What is new in IPS Cable Simulation 3.7, Simulation of 2D Flexible Structures like: Flat Cables, Bellows and Grommets.
